Soft Cover Journals are made with cowhide in a wide variety of colors and textures. They come in three different
sizes including 3x5, 4x6, and 5.5x8.5. Each of the small journals contain about 100 pages while the large journals contain
almost 200. We are in the process of switching all of this paper over to 100 percent recycled paper, which has a unique
pattern with lots of character. These journals are bound using the through page binding and can be closed with either
a magnetic snap, wrap, or antler button. We try very hard to use all the natural edging or each hide to give each journal

Our hard cover journals are very unique and 100% hand crafted. The spine contains ridges to make them look like
old, antique books. They are made from deerhide and each contain about 100 pages. The hard cover books are bound
with the through page binding and also come in 3x5, 4x6, and 5.5x8.5. Please click the link to the left to see more

Our buffalo journals are made in the same manner as the soft cover journals with through page binding and in 3x5, 4x6,
and 5.5x8.5. The are made with high quality buffalo hide currently in three different colors. Buffalo naturally
has a very unique texture. As with all our journals containing flaps, we work hard to use the natural edge as often
as possible to make each journal special. We are also switching the paper used in the buffalo journals to recycled paper.

Our cotton rag journals are made with thick cotton paper making them high quality, archival journals which are sure to
become a family heirloom. They are bound using the tight signature bind and come in a wide variety of sizes and colors.
They are made with cowhide and buffalo leather. The pages in these journals are either hand torn or clean cut which
offers two very different looks to the same style journal. They are made with both hard and soft covers. Please

These signature journals are a completely different line. They are bound with the signature method as shown above.
Each signature contains 10 pages for a total of 180 pages in each journal. These only come in 5.5x8.5, but could be
made in other sizes upon request. They are made using both cowhide and buffalo leather in a variety of colors.
They can be closed with either a wrap, magnetic snap, or antler button. The unique feature of these journals is that
the string used to bind them shows at the spine of the book.
These hard cover pigskin journals are made in much the same fashion as our hard cover journals, but are covered in pigskin
and offer an elastic strap to hold your journal closed. They can be made in 3x5, 4x6, or 5.5x8.5, but are stocked in
4x6. They come with approximately 100 pages. They currently only come in black, but can be specially ordered in
